Bill Cosby: Fall of an American icon (BBC) Fascinating story exploring the rape allegations against the man once known as “America’s dad” and the decade of silence till he finally faced criminal trial and his reputation in Hollywood was tarnished. Narrated by Thandiwe Newton the documentary features interviews with journalists, Hollywood actors as well as victims of sexual assault.
Produced before the “Me too” movement, the access and investigation required to put together the story were incredibly challenging. We filmed in LA and Philadelphia.

Ex-mafia boss Lou Ferrante meets “18th Street” gangsters inside prison and on the streets of El Salvador to learn how their deadly rivalry with the MS-13 is devastating the country. Nominated for a Grierson Award, this episode is part of a series looking at the inner gang cultures around the world. Secured access to the criminal gang and to a maximum security prison where most of the documentary was filmed. Produced story lines, conducted interviews in Spanish and assisted Director filming in El Salvador.

DOPE (Netflix) Original series offering a sobering look at the war on drug sand its effects on the people involved. Filmed from the perspectives of dealers, users and law enforcement, it covers various topics including the opioids epidemic and the ongoing battle at the U.S.A-Mexico border.
Directed an episode following the cocaine production chain from the Colombian coca fields to the streets of Madrid. Produced films about meth trafficking between Arizona and Mexico as well as a film about the Caribbean “cocaine corridor” between Miami, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
ATHINA (79′) Feature length documentary following a handful of protagonists while drawing an intimate portrait of the Greek capital at a time of social crisis. The film tells the story of people looking for something that was taken away from them: refugees looking for a home, young people looking for a future, rebels looking for a cause, and a country looking to get its dignity back.

Directed and wrote this documentary where we meet National Front supporters, anarchists and young people caught in between the political game at a crucial time in French history.

They learn about healing and Shamanistic beliefs and experience Ayahuasca, a powerful hallucinogenic used across centuries for spiritual, social and medicinal purposes.
The set up, filming and story producing was incredibly challenging both physically and logistically. I lived with the tribal community in the remote jungle for the duration of the production.
